What Zuno AI costs you, who uses it, how much each plan gets, which AI does what, and the help chat log.
Periods reset at 00:00 UTC. The filter covers dated Studio, Help and shared-budget AI requests. Older picture/writing records only have monthly totals; those stay labelled monthly and are excluded from shorter-period totals.

1. Allowance for each plan
Open a plan to choose One shared budget or Separate allowances. Businesses see Zuno tokens; you set euros. Feature access remains controlled by the plan.
How monthly and daily allowances work
€1 = 100 Zuno tokens. A €3 shared allowance gives 300 monthly tokens for Help, descriptions, images, menus and campaigns together. The automatic daily ceiling is the monthly amount divided by the actual days in the UTC month; it resets at 00:00 UTC without adding money to the month. Set a daily override if an image needs more than the automatic daily share. Neither a daily override nor separate feature amounts adds to the shared monthly balance.
For a 10% allowance, enter 10% of the subscription income you want to allocate, after discounts and excluding tax. Supplier costs use configured rates and accounting conversion with a buffer; they are estimates, not invoices. Previous credit-based usage is carried forward at configured estimates. Earlier daily detail is unavailable.
Separate mode retains the existing Help euro budget, Studio euro budget and other-AI monthly credits. Business overrides can follow the plan or choose their own mode. Saving a budget does not enable a feature missing from the business plan.

What each allowance pays for
| Allowance | AI model | Where businesses use it | Counted in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Help chat | Claude (claude-haiku-5-5) | The Help button: AI answers when the written articles cannot help, and passing a message to the Zuno team | Tokens per day. A monthly euro budget becomes a daily money ceiling automatically; existing provider-token limits remain an extra cap. €1 = 100 Zuno allowance tokens. No new allowance is enabled automatically. |
| Pictures | OpenAI (image model) | Logo, product and service photos; legacy header credits remain in historical usage | Separate mode: monthly credits. Shared mode: the common euro budget. |
| Writing | Claude (claude-haiku-5-5) | Descriptions and public text written with the ✨ buttons | Separate mode: free by default, with a daily cap. Shared mode: counted against the common euro budget. |
| Menu photos | Claude by default, or OpenAI | Importing a menu from a photo | Credits (price set in Models & prices) |
| Studio artwork | OpenAI · GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst | Menu designs, campaign artwork and booking/ordering headers share this one allowance. Review generated artwork and wording before use. In shared mode, product photos, writing, imports and Help also draw from the same budget. | One monthly euro allowance shown as Zuno tokens, with an automatic daily ceiling. Usage is checked before creation; unused reservations return. Saved designs can be reused without generation tokens. |
| Analytics AI | Claude (claude-haiku-5-5) | "Explain my numbers" and "Ask a question" | Credits, one per use by default |
2. One business: its own limits
Give one business more, less, or none, whatever its plan says. Empty means it follows its plan. 0 switches that kind of AI off for it. Only the platform owner can set Studio overrides; the business owner cannot raise an allowance.
3. Safety limits for everyone
Why these are here: allowances decide what each business can use. Safety limits add a ceiling so mistakes, repeated requests or unexpected demand cannot keep spending without a limit. They never add tokens or increase an allowance. Reaching either limit stops new requests until it resets or you change it.
How to use this: set plan and business allowances above first, then choose the daily limits here. Press Save safety limits once for this whole section. Help chat keeps its own daily provider-token allowance. The common euro ceiling also includes Studio, Help and legacy credit tools. Legacy request costs use conservative estimates, including unsuccessful requests; the existing request and credit caps still apply.
Euro-funded AI
Use the plan table above or the business override to set a toggle and monthly allowance. €1 = 100 Zuno tokens. Separate mode funds Studio artwork here. Shared mode uses one euro allowance across business AI tools, as selected above.
Controls Studio artwork and all AI funded by a shared euro budget. Each business still needs the relevant plan features and enough tokens. Separate Help and legacy credit tools retain their own switches. Switching off keeps saved artwork and job records.
Advanced cost protection and held jobs
Image settings below apply to menu designs, campaigns and booking/ordering headers. The daily euro ceiling covers Help and Studio artwork together across all businesses; other existing AI tools keep the credit cap below. These settings convert estimated supplier usage to Zuno tokens. Monthly Help budgets divide into daily money limits; Studio budgets allow at least one permitted job where the monthly balance can cover it. Businesses see tokens only. The supplier invoice remains authoritative.
Sunburst medium, up to 24 items per page. One active creation per business; unknown outcomes remain held for review.

Other AI creation
The credit cap, wait and free-use cap below protect the existing picture and writing tools. Studio artwork uses its daily euro budget and job limit above. The main creation switch below also stops new Studio artwork.
1. Where AI is used
Which AI does each job, and which secret key it uses. Customers never see this.
Which AI reads menu photos
Only you choose this. OpenAI needs the OPENAI_API_KEY secret (already set for pictures). Use a supported model and keep the configured usage estimates up to date. Cost depends on the model, input and output.
3. What each AI use costs
Credits per use applies in separate mode. The dollar estimates feed usage reporting and reservations for legacy tools in shared mode. Keep these estimates aligned with the selected provider/model and a suitable safety buffer; they are not supplier invoices.

4. Help chat token prices
Configured supplier dollars per million provider tokens. Used for Help and shared-budget Anthropic writing or analysis. Check the rates for your configured model; provider tokens are different from Zuno allowance tokens.
5. Picture prompts
What we tell the AI when a business makes a header, logo, product or service picture. Each prompt is filled in with the business details and the owner's own words, then the picture is cut to its exact size. Changes apply to the next picture, with no deploy. The built-in prompt is used whenever a saved one is empty or breaks a rule.
How people rate Zuno AI
After using an AI feature, people give 1 to 5 stars and, if unhappy, say what went wrong. Start with the features at the top of the table: they are the ones people like least. Open a low rating to read the comment and, for Analytics, the question that was asked.

These plans control what every business sees on their Subscription screen, pricing, limits, and feature list, live, with no code changes. Deleting a plan doesn't touch businesses already on it; they'll just fall back to Free-tier limits until moved to a different plan.
Annual plans
Any paid plan with a monthly Stripe price can also be sold yearly: 12 months less the discount, paid in one go, not refundable. Press Apply and Zuno does the Stripe set-up for you: any paid plan without a monthly Stripe price gets one (from the plan's own price), then every plan gets its yearly price. Businesses already paying keep what they pay until they change. Annual subscribers cannot change plan part-way through the year.
Cancellations and win-back
You are notified when someone cancels (listed below, and emailed if a support email is set). If this is on, a few days after a monthly plan is cancelled they get one email with a single-use code to come back. Each business gets it once. Annual plans never get one.
Standard plan bundles
Preview Core, Online and Complete for each solution. Existing subscriptions keep their plans. New Stripe prices are left blank until you configure them.
Real figures pulled directly from Stripe (not estimated from plan counts), total collected all-time, collected so far this calendar year, and what's coming in next billing cycle from currently-active subscriptions. Refreshed automatically every few hours in the background rather than re-scanning your full Stripe history on every page view. Click Refresh for the latest numbers right now.
Every sign-in attempt on the selected day, successful or blocked, with a best-effort country lookup, similar to Azure AD's sign-in log. Defaults to today; switch the date to look at another day. Loaded on demand per day rather than kept live, so this scales fine regardless of how many users are signing in platform-wide.
Business locations
One global default for every business owner. Approved individual increases may apply. Includes the first business. Every additional location keeps the source business type and paid plan, with no new free trial. Changes apply to new location quotes. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed price.
Discount from the standard monthly or annual price for new additional locations. Website and checkout use this value. Launch offers do not stack; the better offer wins. Use 0 for no additional-location discount.
Lowering the limit only prevents new locations above it. Existing businesses stay available. Old individual allowances are ignored unless approved through the validated request process.
Open Settings to load the global allowance.
Inactive accounts
Free businesses not used for 30 days are deactivated (email at 23 days first), and deleted after 90 days of no use (emails at 14 and 7 days before). Paying businesses are never touched. Owner-requested deletions always run: 30 days to reactivate, then deleted. Start in dry run: it lists who would be affected and changes nothing.
Sign-in background
A photo shown on the POS sign-in screen (beside the sign-in card on larger screens, behind it on phones). It's resized and compressed automatically. Leave it empty to keep the standard sign-in screen.
Online booking payments: Zuno fee
Zuno's share of every payment a guest makes online when booking (deposit or full payment). Bookings paid at the venue carry no fee. A change applies to new payments only; each payment keeps the fee it was charged. The business also pays Stripe's own processing fee.
Between 0 and 30. Starts at 1. To change it for everyone, use "Announce a fee change" below so businesses get 30 days' notice. Saving here changes the percentage straight away.
Different fee for one business
Announce a fee change to all businesses
Businesses see the notice and a worked example in their Stripe settings straight away. The new percentage starts on the date you choose, at least 30 days from today. Until then payments keep the current percentage.
